ORGANIZATION Kahramaa Awareness Park, Doha Qatar
TYPE Interactive Exhibit Design
POSITION In-house Graphic Designer at MCM Group
PROJECT ROLE Lead Graphic Designer
SOFTWARE Illustrator, Photoshop
Worked closely with business leaders, designers, architects, writers, interns, and translators to produce print elements for 21+ exhibits throughout the Kahramaa Awareness Park in Doha, Qatar. The interactive exhibits mixed print, scaled models, analog, digital, and touchscreen games and quizzes and activities, to engage children into learning about energy and water and how to mix conservation in their daily lives.
I was responsible for the graphic/visual-related deliverables, concepting and producing print, along with storyboarding and creating artwork for digital/interactive pieces. Other duties included creating timelines for vendors for print and interactive due dates, tracking itemized pieces, approval rounds, incorporating client’s, translators’ and fabricators’ feedback, revising designs, instructional and artwork imagery. Once all the exhibits were client-approved, I prepared all digital files for our print vendor, including any instructions for fabricator and installers.
All exhibits and experiences were in Arabic and English.
